The Disembodied jewelry piece by Gabriella Goldsmith is a piece of jewelry for the face. Gabriella creates pieces that extract underlying irrational thoughts and feelings being suppressed by the rationality philosophy that governs our society. The face piece therefore portrays a new identity of the wearer by extending and extracting the facial features. This piece can also be hung on the wall.
I work with the illusion of texture, surrealism and witty humor occasionally combining them all into either bigger statement pieces or more wearable subtle sculptural pieces.
